Hurricane Idalia Slams Into Florida

NO FILM, NO VIDEO, NO TV, NO DOCUMENTARY - A group wades into the flooded Beach Boulevard near 31st Avenue Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in Gulfport, Florida. As Hurricane Idalia made landfall in the Big Bend region the Tampa Bay region is still feeling the storms aftermath. Hurricane Idalia tore into Florida at the speed of a fast-moving train Wednesday, splitting trees in half, ripping roofs off hotels and turning small cars into boats before sweeping into Georgia and South Carolina as a still-powerful storm that flooded roadways and sent residents running for higher ground.
